Residential Support Worker – Specialist Children’s Home
Salary potential of £25,000 to £27,000
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to continue to develop your career in care, working as part of a team committed to helping children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in a setting where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children and young people are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Our residential support workers carry out an essential and varied role and provide individual, bespoke support required by the children and young people in our care. You will accompany the young people to appointments, activities such as shopping or trips to the zoo, complete relevant paperwork, undertake keyworker sessions, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, and where appropriate administer medication.

We need someone who can be a role model, work well within a team, has great communication skills, is willing to go the extra mile and be prepared for the varying difficulties the role may present.
Already qualified to or willing to work towards your NVQ3 in Health & Social Care.

- Salary from January 2022 is £21,840 to £23,920 depending on experience and qualifications plus
- £42 per night sleep-in allowance
