The boys have had lots of fun finding ‘the best chippy’ in our local area.
They all walked into the local town and visited three chip shops, purchasing a portion of chips from each one, after they headed down to the seafront and the staff dished a portion from each bag to all the boys young people and staff, after each person had tasted the chips their score was recorded.
The sea was out, and all the boys enjoyed some time on the mud looking for crabs and getting rather messy! On the walk home, they visited one last chippy and got a ‘proper meal’ which included burgers and drinks. All the boys ordered their own meals confidently and waited patiently for their order to be ready. They then walked and chose a spot on the cliff hills to sit and enjoy their food. The results were analysed from all four chip shops and the overall winner for this trip was the Chip Station!
After eating, the boys all seemed keen to spend some time playing on the cliffs, sliding down the big hills and doing ‘parkour moves’.
