Over the weekend our outreach team took one of the young people to their first ever concert, to see their favourite band – The Hives
When they arrived at the venue (The Eventim Apollo) his eyes lit up.
They checked out the merchandise stall before heading into the main hall, where they found a spot, not too far back from the stage. The young person appeared to be taking in the experience and looked very happy enjoying the music from the supporting act – Bad Nerves.
The Hives came on and started playing, and the young person seemed to be in his element, getting fully involved with the songs, crowd interactions with the frontman and just generally totally living in the experience!
After the concert they purchased a T-shirt as a keepsake.
The team member expressed what an absolute pleasure it was to share this experience and gave thanks to the young person for engaging and managing the evening so well.
